Explain what you do, who you are, what will visitor find on your page. This information should be easily found.
Contact information
The visitor should easily find your contact information to get in touch with you. It doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to give all your contact information (e.g. email can be enough).
Social media connection
If you have and regularly use social media than you should add your social media contact on your page.
Clear Navigation
Site navigation should be clear and logical. Use terms people know and understand. Visitors should not have to search hard to find what they want.
Responsive design and optimization for search engines
If your page is not responsive, you know what you have to do in 2016. 🙂 Also make sure your posts, content are optimized for the search engines, so driving traffic to your site will be easier.
Bonus tip: A Favicon
Every website should have a custom favicon to represent site in browser tabs.

I haven’t provided any contact information on my blog. I just figured if anyone needed me they could get in touch through my social media profiles. Now I’m wondering if I should put my email address in my “About” section. Thank you for the tips! 🙂

Probably it will be useful. 🙂
