How To Find More Time To Blog

How To Find More Time To Blog

If your blog is not your primary source of income, it is probably not your highest priority. But you enjoy blogging! And sometimes you just don’t have enough time. With some organization and tricks, you can find more time to do what you enjoy-blogging. This are some of my tricks.

Find time in your day for blog

It can be 15 min, 30 min, 1 hour. The only thing that is important is that it will be in same part of your day, every day (eg. in the morning, before going to bed). I like to take a time to blogging when I finish with my joga, breakfast and prepare my morning coffee. With coffee in one hand and mouse in other, I check my blog, Twitter, Instagram and start working on my next post (text, images…).

Do something every day

I like to do every day something small for my blog. I find it easy and enjoy doing so. If I work on my post every day, they are better, have better structure, images, and context. If I already have an idea about my next post I write it down in one session. Next day I check it one more time, improve it, check grammar, add images…

Write down blog post ideas and keep blog post calendar

How important is to write down your new ideas for a post I have already write here. One reason for procrastination can also be writer block and no ideas for next post. To keep a list of ideas you can avoid this block and take your list as an inspirational source. It is really important to write down every idea you have and keep your blog post calendar (more about calendar).

Keeping a calendar is so important. It really helps me organize post ideas and what I need to do for each!
