Share Documents & Control Access Levels
In Google Drive you can share documents and control access levels, by clicking on Share > Advance and set permissions.
With using Add-Ons you can exten the functionality of Google Drive. One of my favorites are:
- Table of contents to show table in Google Document sidebar
- autoCrat to merge data in spreadsheet to e.g. pdf (I use it to create pdf Invoices from spreadsheet)
Use Drag and Drop to Upload in Google Drive
Drag and drop functionality is really great and useful. You can simply drag and drop images or documents to desired Google Drive folder and upload them.
Attach Google Drive Files On Gmail
Especially when I would like to send larger files is super useful to attach them via Google Drive directly on email.
Offline access in Drive
Even I am not online I still can use my Drive and they automatically sync when I go online.
For more organized Drive you can change Folder Color
This functionality I didn’t know about for a long time. And then I find that you can color-coded you Drive Folders and this become very often used for me.
Stars – fast access
Stars are very simple but big time saver to access documents you often used. I star my documents that I often use and I can easily and fast access them.
Using templates can make your documents more professional or just more organized and nice. Some templates can also add functionality and bring more to the table.
